Emmis Communications, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (collectively referred to herein as the "Company"), will conduct the Sweepstakes substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees to the specific rules, terms and conditions described below.

    Description of Sweepstakes/Participation.

    1. Dates of Sweepstakes: The Sweepstakes will begin on April 1, 2001 thru July 27, 2009.
    2. How to Enter:
      Beginning April 1, 2009 thru July 31, 2009, Squirt Marauders will visit various Southern California locations where listeners can receive free samples of Squirt, win Squirt t-shirts, win onsite miscellaneous prizes and the promote the opportunity to see a free Girl Talk concert scheduled for Friday, June 19, 2009 at the The Grove of Anaheim, CA and Friday, July 24, at the Fox Theatre in Pomona, CA For a complete listing of scheduled events, consumers can visit www.power106.com and www.squirtboomburst.com.

      Consumers will be encouraged to bring 36 empty cans to obtain free admission to one of 2 Girl Talk concerts scheduled (see dates and locations above). All cans will be collected at the front entrance and donated to local recycling plant for a charity fundraiser.

      Free VIP admission will also be given to consumers wearing a SQUIRT t-shirt and bringing 36 empty cans. Free VIP admission will be granted until venue is at capacity. Once venue is at capacity, no rain checks or refunds will be issued. First come, first serve admission. All attendees will be required to show California State issued identification for admission. All attendees must be 18 years of age and older to gain admission.

      To qualify to win the trip for 4 to Chicago, Illinois, consumers will be encouraged to bring cans and enter to win the trip for 4 to concert event on Friday - Sunday, August 7-9, 2009.
    3. How to Play:
      Register to win ballots will be available at all Marauder locations. Marauders will give attendees the opportunity to register to win for onsite prizing and Squirt t-shirts. Valid Sweepstakes entries must contain all information requested. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. Onsite prizing and amount of prizing is determined by KPWR-FM management prior to each schedule Squirt Marauder hit. During each onsite event, a Squirt Marauder will randomly pull the contestant names. Official sweepstakes odds will be determined based on the number of individuals registered to participate at each location.
  2. Description of Prize(s).

    • 1 free ticket to Girl Talk concert on Friday, June 19, 2009 at The Grove of Anaheim (8pm doors). Free admission with 36 empty cans or VIP Admission with a Squirt t-shirt and 36 empty cans, while supplies last. Capacity 1900. Squirt can doesn't guarantee admission. Admission is on a first come, first serve, until venue reaches capacity. All attendees must show California State issued identification and be 18 years of age or older.
    • 1 free ticket to Girl Talk concert on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Fox Theatre, Pomona, CA (8pm doors, 9pm show). Free admission with 36 empty cans or VIP Admission with a Squirt t-shirt and 36 empty cans, while supplies last. Capacity 1600. Can doesn't guarantee admission. First come, first serve, until capacity. All attendees must show California State issued identification and be 18 years of age or older.
    • 1 grand prize trip for 4 to see a concert music festival scheduled to take place in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, scheduled for August 7-9, 2009. Trip to include 4 tickets, hotel and transportation to city. Trip is subject to 1099 form. Trip must be taken during promotional window. Once trip reservations are made, winner is responsible for any incremental fees regarding trip changes or upgrades. Winner's hotel room is room and tax only. Winner is responsible for all ground transportation, parking, incidentals, entertainment, hotel deposit and meals. If grand prize winner is unable to attend scheduled trip, grand prize will be forfeited without substitution prize.
    • Onsite prizing by Squirt Marauders to include, but not excluding: Southern California theme park tickets, concert tickets, video games, electronic systems, movie passes, special event tickets and promotional items. Chances of winning depend on amount of attendees at each onsite event. Winners will be selected via random drawing onsite. Odds of winning in any contest are determined by the number of participants. $100 approximate value of onsite prizing every Squirt Marauder location.
    No substitution or duplicate prizes will be awarded. All prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. All prizes must be redeemed within thirty (30) days of the Sweepstakes end date.
  3. Eligibility and Limitations. Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. citizens who are 18 years of age or older as determined by the Company and reside in the Station's Total Survey Area (TSA) as defined by Arbitron, Inc.

    Each winner must provide the Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded, and, as noted above, in connection with the Grand Prize, an Affidavit must be submitted by the potential Grand Prize winner, and verified, prior to the awarding of the Grand Prize and a US tax form 1099 for any prizing that is valued in excess of $599.00.
  4. Compliance with Law. The conduct of the Sweepstakes is governed by the applicable laws of the Unites States of America, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. The Station shall follow the applicable laws for conducting Sweepstakes, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the Sweepstakes, etc. as required by local and state law.
  5. Mail in entries: Mail in entries for Squirt Boom Burst Zone, must include legal name, age, mailing address, city, state, zip code, phone number and email address. All mail in entries must be received by Friday, July 10, 2009 for consideration. Entries to be mailed to: Squirt Boom Burst Zone Sweepstakes, 2600 West Olive Avenue, Suite 800, Burbank, CA 91505. (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected Friday, July 31, 2009.

  7. Promotion: Power 106 and Squirt reserves the right to use winner's voice, likeness on the air and on both www.power106.com and squirtboomburst.com.
  8. ALL KPWR-FM management decisions are final. Rules can be updated and changed by KPWR-FM management at any time and without notice. Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at any time by station management, without notice, but will be put in writing, and be available for public inspection.
  9. Hold Harmless: KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, Squirt, Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Inc., their agencies, sponsors, employees and representatives absolve themselves and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from the prizes awarded in a contest.
